Paladar is a brand & storytelling studio based in Portland and San Francisco. I have had the pleasure of producing and photographing multiple projects with them creating branding material for the tech sector.
Every year the Corbis team headed down to Charlottesville, Virginia for the Look3 Festival of the Photograph. As part of our sponsorship we handled all communication and social media for the three day festival. We documented the events, conducted artist interviews, and took over the festival social media accounts.
My last year working the event was a special one. Every fourth year was the “LookBetween” event. Instead of the large public festival LookBetween brought together some of the best up and coming young photographers for an intimate weekend. In addition to taking over the blog and social media, I helped to facilitate break out talks, portfolio reviews, and interviews. (Photos by Joe Santa)
I was one of a two person team managing all image needs for the largest events market place on the web. My time there StubHub was exploding. We launched a dozen new sites abroad and were adding new partnerships with sports teams around the nation. That meant bring in lots of new images, and managing thousands of images daily across the company. I curated, produced, and licensed everything from sports to theater.
In the years I worked at Corbis Images I’m honored to have worked with some of the best photographers in the business. Together we covered climate change, hurricane Sandy, the Popes visit to the US, two presidential campaigns, immigration, the list goes on.
